Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, an Afghan American actor in the United States has appeared in various television shows. She was born in Kabul, Afghanistan. Her parents fled to the US which they received asylum. Her sister in law took care of her in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career on the television industry by appearing on numerous National Commercials. Ghanizada won the award for the most outstanding actress in the festival film in 2004's Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. In the film, she played the role of Chiara. Television guest-starring roles are How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells, NUMB3RS bones, Psych and Castle. Most recently, she played as a character supporting for the film Blood Shot (2009). Also, she was an independent comic in You Only Better 2009. In 2008, Ghanizada was added to the cast of General Hospital. General Hospital prime-time spin-off General Hospital. Season two of Nightshift, she was holistic doctor Dr. Saira Bastra. Ghanizada appeared as Kelly who was the Prada actress in HBO's Entourage.
